Putting your talent in front of a camera can be incredibly daunting. Jo always says that the lens is a "judgemental eye" and creating these video blogs - I TOTALLY agree.

Below are 3 ways to make interviews go smoothly.

1) Prepare a script - even if it is just talking points.

2) Meet the talent or interviewee beforehand. We made a blog about this, watch it here.

3) If you are going to ask your interviewee questions, send the list through to the interviewee - this will help them be more prepared.

Bonus tip - have a cup of coffee and a non-film related conversation with them before the production, this may help to calm their nerves.
